Mainstay Suites Rapid City

Room cleanliness was lacking, but the amenities made our stay enjoyable.

I had a really great experience here, everything was great, the location was easy right by Rapid City for a meeting or for a relaxing weekend, Close to the mall, and located in a nice safe area with easy access to interstate.

Location: the hotel was next to quick access to downtown as well as downtown Rapid City. The staff was extremely friendly on arrival and throughout the stay.

The efficiency king suite we stayed in was spacious. On the second morning, the coffee machine worked well, and there was plenty of jelly and cream cheese available for our bagels.

The coffee situation was inconsistent across our stay.

I loved staying here because the rates were great and the staff were friendly. It was only a short drive to the Museum of Geology and the Journey Museum for some fascinating sightseeing.

Excellent service, modern amenities.

We had a blast with friends here! Great location for adventures like horse riding and hiking trails nearby. It was nice to chill after our winery tours and hit the hot springs. Just keep in mind that breakfast seating can get tight.

Had a hiccup with the fire alarm going off early in the morning without any announcement. It left us unsure of what to do, which wasn't ideal.

The full-size refrigerator was a game-changer, we could store ice packs for day trips and enough food for our stay. The room maintained a high standard of cleanliness, and the organic shampoo was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast area felt cramped, and we experienced a minor issue with the toilet seat which was addressed promptly. Check-out was efficient.

This place suits me perfectly, offering reliable Wi-Fi, free parking, and a fitness center. On my first stay, the staff helped me find a better taxi service, which I appreciated. Always a great experience!

The room was spacious, nice. The kitchenette was a major plus for us. The beds, though, could have been comfier. They felt a bit springy. Everything was clean and updated, but the Wi-Fi didn't work great. It had a good vibe but some little things held it back.

Had a lovely stay with my family, really enjoyed the kitchenette with a full-size fridge for our snacks and the cozy queen suite was perfect for us! The pool area offered a nice spot to unwind after a day of exploring. The only downside was a couple of appliances in the breakfast area that were out of order, but overall it was a great experience! 😊

Recommend for a city break

Comfortable room, convenient amenities, loved having a kitchenette with cookware and easy access to free breakfast, while the indoor swimming pool was a hit with my children.

Wi-Fi connectivity was a bit inconsistent during peak hours.
